Dev Samaj College of Education, Sec 36 organized its 42nd Annual Prize Distribution Function in the college premises.
Amandeep Singh Bhatti (PCS), Director Higher Education (DHE) U.T. Administration, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Shri Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon, Secretary Dev Samaj and Chairman Dev Samaj College of Education also graced the event with his presence.
Dr. Richa Sharma, Officiating Principal of the college presented a welcome address.
Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Secretary, College Management along with the Chief Guest gave prizes to the students for their remarkable achievements under various categories in both curricular and co-scholastic areas.
More than 400 students of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Master of Education (M.Ed) Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling (PGDGC) and Post Graduate Diploma in Child Guidance and Family Counselling (PGDCG & FC) were given medals for their outstanding performances.
Speaking on the occasion, Amandeep Singh Bhatti appreciated the value based education being given by the college. He also emphasized that education is the most important weapon to change the world and urged the prospective teachers to act as good role models before the future generation.
Dr. Agnese Dhillon thanked the staff members and students for making the function a great success and extended her best wishes to the students.
Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon blessed the students for their present and future endeavors.
