Mohali based Healthcare Smartz (An APPworx Company) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sprott Shaw College, Vancouver, Canada that will help regional nursing students to enhance their skills and potential to seek respectable employability opportunities in Canada. The MoU was signed between Mr. Patrick Dang, President SSC, Canada and Mr. Manipal Dhariwal, Co-Founder, APPworx and Mr. Nitin Monga, Co-Founder, APPworx, at Sebiz Square, Sector 67, Mohali.
The occasion was honored with the presence of dignitaries including Mr. Yatan Anand, Senior International Admission Advisor, SSC, Dr. Jagmohan Oberai, VP Healing Touch Hospital and DG Ganpati Group of Institutes, Dr. Sarin, Director – Principal Rayat Bahra University, Mr. Tarun Arora, NZ Immigration Consultant, Dr. Hari Kumar, Dean Academics, Dr. Bains, owner Beekay Institute of Nursing, Mr. Avinash Kaul, Immigration Consultant, Dr. Ravinder, Faculty of NCLEX in The Chopra, Mr. Pradeep Prem, CEO, APPworx and Principals and students from number of nursing colleges in the vicinity.
The newly devised program, which is the outcome of this MoU, is designed to prepare Internationally Educated Nurses (IEN) effectively. Post Graduate Certificate in Nursing Administration will ensure the eligibility and application for nurse licensure and nursing practice positions. The foundation course will be imparted at Healthcare Smartz campus in Mohali. The course will be under co-op, which gives the opportunity to “Earn While You Learn”.
Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Manipal Dhariwal said – “We are extremely delighted to partner with Sprott Shaw College which will surely mark a new era in health sector. Healthcare Smartz is focusing on nurturing the career of healthcare workers”.
