Govt. College of Yoga Education & Health Sector 23-A, Chandigarh has organized a five days Yoga Awareness and Ayurvedic camp in the college premises from 29thMayto 2June,2018 (5:15am to 7:00 am). The opening ceremony of the camp was graced by Sh Jitender Yadav IAS,Secretary Sports,UT Administration , Chandigarh who was welcomed by Dr Mahender Singh ,JOINT DIRECTOR SPORTS,Ut administration ,Chd and principal of the college.The first day of the camp commenced with imparting information of adapting a healthy lifestyle through yoga by Mr. Roshan Lal which was followed by Suksham Vyayam and Breathing exercises..A special feature of the camp was free Ayurvedic medical checkup, Blood sugar,Bp by Ayurvedic doctors Dr Rajiv Kapila Nodal Officer National AYUSH Mission and Dr Aarti Verma form AYUSH department Sector 24 Chd and distribution of free Ayurvedic medicines and medicinal plants to all the participants by the chief guest.The total participants of the camp were about 80.
