A Management fest “Panache-2017” was organized by the Commerce and Management Club of Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma, College, Sector- 32, Chandigarh on the 20th March 2017. The students exhibited their talent wonderfully through the decor and the performances. Around 20 colleges participated from different parts of North India like Shimla, Jalandhar & Ludhiana.
The fest began with the traditional lighting of lamp by the Principal Dr. Bhushan Kumar Sharma, followed by a speech encouraging the students to keep up their good work. The Chief Guest Mrs. Indu Malhotra, (IAS), Managing Director, Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation and Managing Director, Punjab Financial Corporation appreciated the hard work and efforts put in by the students to make the event a big success.
The fest witnessed a gathering of 1500-2000 people and had various events like Ad-Mad show, Mr. & Ms. Panache, Quiz, T-shirt painting, face off etc. Street Plays and Treasure Hunt was also organized. The zeal and enthusiasm among the students helped them put up a brilliant and mesmerizing event.
The fest was concluded with a valedictory ceremony in which the students of the Commerce and Management were commemorated for their painstaking efforts. Dr. Ajay Sharma, Dean, Cultural Activities gave a vote of thanks and congratulated the students and staff for their hard work.
The fest aimed to inculcate the values of Fairness, Objectivity, Leadership, Team Spirit and Commitment among the students along with the all round development of their personalities which it did with an awe-inspiring response.
