A blood donation camp was organised by Gurdwara Shaheed Bhai Sangat Singh at village Bhakarpur on the occasion of Shri Guru Ravidas Jayanti. Over 70 people, including women, donated blood at the camp.
The blood donation camp was held with the support from the Bood Bank of PGI Chandigarh. Gram Panchayat Bhakarpur also supported the cause. Chief guest of the programme was Balbir Singh Sidhu, MLA from Mohali area.
Sodagar Singh, President, Gurudwara Committee, said, “We want to hold this camp every year. Today’s camp is also a tribute to the CRPF martyrs of Pulwama. I want to thank everybody involved, especially the PGI Blood Bank team led by Dr Gurpreet Kaur. The camp is organized to serve the humanity.”
Also present were – Jaswinder Singh, Satnam Singh and Sukhwinder Singh.
