Panchkula Ladies Club celebrated Lohri with great fervour at Paras Bliss hospital MDC sector 5 Panchkula. Around 80 ladies were present in colourful Punjaban dress. All Ladies danced around bonfire on beats of Dhol enjoying delicacies of Lohri Moongphali, Rewadi & Gachak, Tilbugga etc. Cake cutting ceremony was also done on Lohri. Boliyan of the day were Mere jeth da munda bada papi male maare ankhiyan naale aakhe chachi,
Ni o sharhi aaya,
Ni O kajal le aaya,
Ni o mainu kalda ki,
Kajal pa chachi,
Akh mila chachi & so many other also.
This was first festival celebration of the year 2020. Panchkula Ladies Club keeps on celebrating all the festivals from last ten years.
Next celebration will be Basant Panchami. Sharda kathpalia President of Club wished everyone Happy Lohri.
Members present were Sunita Nain, Devinder Bedi, Nandita , Alka Sikka, Veena Kapoor, Jyoti Bansal ,Anu Mohin etc.
