Special children of Sant Kabir Foundation organize colourful programme

Special Children of Sant Kabir Foundation led by President Renu Kakkar in Phase 7 presented a colourful programme to commemorate the Republic Day.

The programme was held in collaboration with Star of Trinity Group by Sant Kabir Foundation, Mohali, which is involved in social and welfare activities.

Special guests on the occasion were, Social Worker, National President of the Indian Inkalab Group and Ambika Group Managing Director Praveen Kumar and Co-operative Bank Chairman Amarjeet Singh, who were welcomed by Renu Kakkar. Along with him, Seema Thakur, Priya Nautiyal, Khushbu Jain, Pavani Dhingra Shivam Dhingra, Yash Gambhir and Maninder Kaur were also present.

The program was started by Special Children with Ganesh Vandana, with play back singer, Surabhi Kakkar. On this occasion, the special children had a tricolor painted on their faces and held the tricolor in their hands, giving it a patriotic colour. During the program, they also danced to patriotic songs.

On this occasion, special children also introduced themselves on stage, and on the occasion a drawing competition was also organized by the Sant Kabir Foundation in which the children participated with full enthusiasm and participated enthusiastically. The theme of the competition was to fill all three colours in the tricolor which they filled up perfectly.

On this occasion, the president of the foundation Renu Kakkar said that the foundation is working in the interest of Special Children and keeps organizing such programs from time to time so that the disabled get to learn something new.

She said that great care is required in the upbringing of special children. There is a need to be physically with them at all times. Taking care of such children is a more responsible job than that of elders.

She said that the objective of the Foundation has been to instil confidence and self-sufficiency in such children in which they have also succeeded in some cases. She said that children with disabilities are part of society and should be encouraged.

She also informed that the Foundation is also involved in various social and welfare works. She appealed to various NGOs, and social workers to come forward to help the Foundation and cooperate in taking this cause forward.

On this occasion, Star of Trinity group Preeti Arora highlighted the importance of Republic Day. She said that these children are being looked after in a big way by the Foundation.

Praveen Kumar and Amarjeet Singh, who were present as special guests on the occasion, said that the work done by the Foundation for the differently abled is commendable, and they will always be ready for all possible help to the Foundation.

At the end of the program, special guests were felicitated .
