The students of the Post Graduate Department of Computer Applications of P.G. Govt. College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh organized colorful farewell function for its’ outgoing students of BCA -III today. Prof. (Dr.) Anita Kaushal , Principal of the college was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The students of BCA-I & II presented a kaleidoscope of cultural items ranging from songs, dances and mimicry. The students of the outgoing class of BCA-III also displayed their artistic skills through movie of their precious moments spent in the college. The dances performed on a medley of foot-tapping numbers had the audience swerving on their feet. The final year students walked down the ramp wearing stylish dresses.
The brilliant students were awarded for their devotion and contribution towards the achievements of the department. Addressing the students Principal Prof.(Dr.) Anita Kaushal advised them to inculcate discipline in their lives. She motivated them to put in best of their efforts in every task and remain contended with the results. Prof. Pardeep Singh Walia, Head of the Department of Computer applications highlighted the glorious rise of the department in such a short span of time. He proudly announced that the department is granted affiliation to start M.Sc-IT from the session 2017-18 by the Panjab University. He wished success to the outgoing students in all the endeavors.
