Keeping up with the glorious tradition of all round excellence of the institution, Ms. Kusum, a student of B. A.-III of Post Graduate Govt. College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh, an outstanding player of Fencing represented India in World Cup Women’s team for the year 2022. It is a matter of great pride that Kusum has won Bronze medal at International level in Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan held from 24th Feb 2022 to 3rd Feb 2022.
Earlier achievements to her credit are:

Junior National Tournamnet-1 Bronze

Khelo India University Games-2 Gold, 3 Silver, 2 Bronze
She has also been selected as recruit (GD) at Assam Rifles Training Centre and School, Sukhovi (Nagaland).
Principal Prof. Anita Kaushal congratulated Kusum and appreciated the contribution of faculty members of Department of Physical Education of the college.
