Mount Carmel School (MCS), Chandigarh has been ranked No.1 under the category of Best CBSE School in Chandigarh, in a survey conducted by Education, a leading educational magazine. It was declared during the India’s School Merit Awards 2022 and 9th National Conference on K-12 Leadership held at Bangalore recently.
This glory was achieved under the guidance of Founders and Directors Dr. Earnest Charles, J. Samuel and Dr. Annie Charles Samuel and the Principal Dr. Parveena John Singh. Dr. Earnest Charles, J. Samuel added Achievement does not require extraordinary ability. Achievement comes from ordinary abilities applied with extraordinary persistence and Dr. Annie Charles Samuel opined that it reflects the school’s commitment to derive a culture of learning, innovation and continuous improvement.
Some of the parameters of judging included academic recognition, digital learning advancement, individual attention to students, co-curricular activities, parental engagement, and integrated learning, etc. Dr. Parveena said that this honour comes as a motivation to contribute further to the field of Education using innovative pedagogy for better learning outcomes. She had dedicated this award to the entire team of MCS.
