NSS wing of the college of the Post Graduate Government College, Sector-46, Chandigarh celebrated 5th Rashtriya Poshan Maah with great fervour. The objective of the Rashtriya Poshan Maah (RPM) is to ensure community mobilisation for addressing malnutrition amongst young children, and women and to ensure health and nutrition for everyone.
An interesting competition of cooking and presenting a healthy food recipe was organised to popularise and inculcate healthy eating habits in students and their relevance in leading a healthy life. It attracted many students who presented interesting recipes varying from sprouts salad to multigrain dosas.
Principal of the college Dr Abha Sudarshan addressed the students on the importance of healthy food leading to healthy body and healthy mind. Dean of the college Dr. Rajesh Kumar and Vice principal Dr. Baljit Singh also graced the occasion. Principal of the college congratulated the winners and awarded them. The recipe of Megha Sharma of BBA II was adjudged the best.
