Needy people fed at community kitchen

Following the tradition of Sanatan Dharma, Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation organized a ‘Bhandara’ or Community Kitchen here, which benefited hundreds of needy and underprivileged people of the surrounding area. A large number of daily wage workers and members of poor families were among those who took advantage of the Community Kitchen.

The Chief Sevadar of Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation , Amitabh Rungta and his family manage one Bhandara every week in accordance with the Sanatan Dharma tradition. Apart from community kitchens, Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation which is a social and charitable organization, also gives importance to gau sewa or ‘service to cows’. The Rungta family often goes to Gauvan and serves the cows.

Meanwhile, Anupama Rungta, Chaitanya Rungta, Pragati Rungta, Deepali Rungta, Himanshu, Mohan, Nidhi, Deeksha Goyal etc distributed food in the Bhandara. Mr. Amitabh Rungta said that helping the needy is the biggest religion.
