The Seven days Faculty Development Programme organized by the Post Graduate Department of Public Administration, DAV College, Sector-10, Chandigarh under the aegis of RUSA and State Directorate UT, Chandigarh was inaugurated on 20/02/2017 (Monday) by Sh Davesh Moudgil (Ex-Deputy Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh. The 56 participants of diverse faculties registered themselves for the Faculty Development Programme. Honourable Principal Sh. B.C. Josan inaugurated the Programme. The Chief Guest Sh. Moudgil enthused the participants to contribute more effectively towards teaching and research opportunities.
The first Technical session was addressed by Dr. Harleen Bakshi noted dietician and diabetes expert. She spoke brilliantly on Diabetes Management and Lifestyle Diseases which got an enthusiastic response from participants. The second technical session followed after a tea break, was addressed by Dr. N.K. Ojha Professor Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology at Panjab University, Chandigarh, a noted historian who spoke on Kautilya’s concept of Good Governance followed by an interactive session and discussion.
Prof. R.K. Dogra, Prof. Amitabh Diwedi, Prof. Arti Walia and Prof. Sunita Bakshi greeted all the participants. Dr. B.C. Josan appreciated the efforts of the department.
