Poetry collection ‘Tere Naam’ released

Poet Dinesh Bhalla’s newly published first poetry collection Tere Naam was released by Samvad Sahitya Manch Chandigarh at the Community Centre, Sector 43 here. After which the book was discussed by the poets and litterateurs present. In this program, KK Sharda President Acharyakul Chandigarh was the chief guest. The program was presided over by councillor Prem Lata, while the President of the Manch and senior litterateur Prem Vij was present as a special guest in this program.

The program started with Saraswati Vandana which was presented by Somesh. The poets and litterateurs present expressed their views on the poetry collection Tere Naam and discussed the book and presented their poems. Poet Dr. Vinod Kumar Sharma, while expressing his views on Dinesh Bhalla’s poetry collection Tere Naam, said that in the poetry book, the poet has expressed the feelings of his mind in a very effective manner. Litterateur Prem Vij said that the poet has expressed the contribution of his family in his literary journey and has given a message of love to a world full of violence and hatred. Poet and Shayar Anish Garg said that the poet has expressed his feelings in a very simple manner, in which there is loneliness, there are memories and there is also a smile on the lips. Dr. Sangeeta Sharma Kundra said that while reading all the poems, a shape is formed in the mind and emotions are expressed.

While discussing the poetry collection Tere Naam by poet Dinesh Bhalla, there are a total of 53 poems in the poetry collection which are immersed in the essence of love, which the reader will feel good after reading. All the poems have been woven in a very simple language which can be easily understood. He told that he is an introvert by nature and so he hesitated in presenting his poems to others but after retirement from State Bank of India, he started painting his emotions, desires etc. in the colours of words to fulfill his interest. He put all the poems on paper. Then after his wife Savita Bhalla, daughter Neha Bhalla Sood, son-in-law Siddhant Sood, son Sahil Bhalla and daughter-in-law Ruchika Bhalla boosted his morale, this collection was converted into a book. His younger brother Sanjeev Bhalla helped in publishing these poems and giving them final shape.

In the book, an attempt has been made to weave different subjects mainly beauty, love, memories, sorrow, separation, separation etc. in poetry through words. The feelings which did not go anywhere from the lips were presented by writing them down. Dinesh Bhalla told that he used to ask his father the meaning of words whose meaning was unknown, especially Urdu words. He had studied Urdu and had knowledge of Urdu language, he was also fond of it and he used to write poetry sometimes. Gradually curiosity arose in his mind and to understand poetry well, he took admission in Urdu department of Punjab University to gain knowledge of Urdu language. He received basic education for one year and also learnt Urdu language.

He told that his parents always encouraged him to move forward by giving him good values. During this, he thanked national poet Dinesh Devgharia and publisher Sagar Sood Sanjay who gave him the right guidance.

On this occasion, poetess Vimala Guglani presented the poem Aao Phir Se Nav Chalaye in the flowing rain water. Dr. Pragya Sharda, while taking a dig at the changing form of relationships, said that relationships closed their eyes like pigeons seeing a cat. Neither phone call nor did you know your well being, as if you live in the city. While presenting the poem Mask, Kiran Ahuja said that I was surprised to see so many masks in the mirror in the morning. Apart from these, Dr. Shashi Prabha, Daisy Bedi Juneja, Rashi Shrivastava, Krishna Goyal, Bal Krishna Gupta, Gurdarshan Singh Bhavi, Simrat Jeet Kaur Grewal, Paramjeet Param, Pooja Saini, Ashok Nadir and RK Bhagat also presented some of their creations. In the poetry recitation, about a dozen Hindi and Punjabi poets presented poems and received a lot of praise.
