In a warm-hearted gesture as part of its “Helping Hand, Human Touch” initiative, Elante mall, the region’s favourite destination for shopping, food and fun, brought smiles on the faces of about 30 underprivileged  children by setting up their date with their favourite cartoon superhero Chhota Bheem and his Dholakpur gang at a special “Meet and Greet” session of Elante Summer Kids Carnival organised in the mall today.

Organised by Elante in association with Aashman Foundation, an NGO dedicated to the welfare of underprivileged children and women, the underprivileged  children’s day out in the mall was a dream come true as they intermingled with Chhota Bheem, cut the cake with him, posed with him for photographs and participated in various fun-filled activities like “Dig the well”, “Put the Bindi on Chhutki” and “Ladoo mania”. The mall also gave the kids an all-new exposure through workshops in clay art, recycling art, origami and painting.

Packed with games, music and lavish food, it was an outing these children will cherish for the rest of their lives. The smiles on their faces grew only bigger when the mall staff gifted them goodie bags and Chhota Bheem accessories.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr Anil Malhotra, Chief Executive Officer, Elante mall,  said, “We, at Elante, strive to contribute meaningfully to the society by shaping a better tomorrow for the less fortunate. The idea behind this thought was to give these underprivileged children a reason to cheer and make them feel special.”

A few months ago, Elante had donated winter clothes to underprivileged children as part of its “Helping Hand, Human Touch” initiative.
