Chairman of Sarthi Charitable Trust Nand Lal donated many books of greatmen to Maharishi Dayanand Public School Daria, Chandigarh. It includes Maharana Pratap, Jawaharlal Nehru, Narayan Murti, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, Bhagwan Mahavir, J.P. Narayan, Lala Lajpat Roy, Sachin Tendulkar, Tatyan Tope, Satyajit Ray, Chanakya, Dhirubhai Ambani, Leo Tolstoy, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Mandela, Amartya Sen, Sarojini Naidu, Aurobindo, Vallabhbhai Patel, Jim Corbett, Gopal Krishna Gokhale, etc. Many biographies books of great men in Hindi and English presented to the school library. School principal Dr. Vinod Kumar said that books of great men given by Nand Lal will inspire the students. He thanked Nand Lal for donating books for the library.
