Academics, Sports, Culture can help the Youth of Punjab to stay away from drugs:-Sh. Rana K.P. Singh

Hon’ble speaker, Vidhan Sabha, Sh. Rana K.P Singh today while inaugurating Aryans 10th Annual cultural function Roshaan held at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh said that it’s necessary to associate our young youth with the academics, sports and cultural activities to make them stay away from the drugs. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.

“Empty mind is the house of Devil” quoting this statement Sh. Rana K.P. Singh said that students who don’t involve themselves in any extra-curricular activities get diverted to bad habits of drug addiction etc. While appraising the efforts being done by Aryans he said that the Group has the set the example by admitting students from all over the India giving it a reflection of Mini India and also has set an example by giving education in Punjab. “Edutainment is the best method to build the interest of students.”

Rana further said that it’s a matter of honour for Punjab that all the four promoters of the Aryans Group are educationists who have taught in various schools and colleges which shows that the motive behind the institution is not commercial but to enlighten the lives of the students through education.

Also present on the occasion were Dr. (Mrs.) Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group; Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group; Sh. Paramjit Sidhu, AIG, Punjab Police; Sh. Kamaljeet Singh Chawla, Public Coordination Cell, Punjab; Sh. Rajpal Singh, General Secretary, PPCC, Congress Committee; Sh. Sushant Kaushik etc.
