Nowadays, films are not a mere source of entertainment, but every film maker makes sure that their film also conveys a message. But this is not possible without the support of producers who put faith in a writer’s ideas and a director’s vision. Badshah, a name that needs no introduction, has zeroed in on another Punjabi movie with his production house APRA Films. After the huge success of Ardaas, recently Badshah announced his second film ‘Do Dooni Panj’.
Badshah released the poster of the film on his social media accounts. The details of the film are yet to be revealed, however, Amrit Maan will play the male lead in ‘Do Dooni Panj’. Director Harry Bhatti will helm this project. The shoot of the film will start from 10th September. And, major part of the movie will be shot in the locations of Punjab and Chandigarh.
Badshah, the producer of this project, said, “I feel making a film is a matter of great responsibility because these days audience is so smart that you have to justify each aspect of this process. So, when I decided to start a production house, I made sure that every project we create will be for society. ‘Do Dooni Panj’ is a beautiful amalgamation of entertainment and awareness. I just hope people will shower their blessings on the concept as much as they have on my previous works.”
Main lead of the film, Amrit Maan, said, “Do Dooni Panj is a project which is beyond my expectations. I cannot thank God enough for this association with such an amazing team which is a pure blessing. I have already worked with Harry Bhatti in Aate Di Chidi, so I am aware of his vision and dedication. However, this is the first time I am working with Badshah Bhaaji. I am so excited and looking forward to this journey.”
Captain of the ship, Harry Bhatti quoted, “I am a firm believer of quality work, over quantity. Do Dooni Panj is a film which will definitely change the scenario of cinema in Punjab. I will try to give my best and hope that we will be able to mark an impression on people’s minds.”
Do Dooni Panj will hit the theatres on 11th January 2019.
