The festival of Basant Panchami was celebrated at Adarsh Public (Smart) School (APS 20), Sector-20B, Chandigarh. A ‘havan’ was performed on this occasion. Children enjoyed the ‘kite flying’ activity. Teachers were dressed up in yellow color attire.
Principal Ms Sunita Thakur said, “Students were told about the importance of ‘Basant Panchami’. We keep organizing such activities to keep the kids aware of our culture and festivals.”
