A Blood Donation Camp was organized by the Blood Donation Society, along with NSS and Alumni Association of the P.G. Government College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh in collaboration with Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGI, Chandigarh today. The camp was sponsored jointly by Inner Wheel Club of Chandigarh and Nescafe.
A total of 116 units of blood were donated. Each donor was accorded with a certificate from PGI, Chandigarh and a gift. Refreshments were provided to the donors.
The camp received an overwhelming response from the college, staff, students and ended on a successful note.
