Independence Day was celebrated by The British School, Sec 44 in the School’s campus with great Nationalistic fervour & enthusiasm. On this occasion students of the school showcased a ‘colourful vision’ of a progressive India, free from the oppressive British Rule. Children came dressed in traditional outfits & gave a presentation of India’s rich ‘Unity in diversity’. They put up a cultural programme replete with singing and dance performances .
“Students showed a creative effort in decorating their respective classrooms & the school based on the tricolour theme. We tried to inculcate a feeling of patriotism through the celebration.” Said Mona Sethi, Principal, The British School, Chandigarh.
