Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India Team participated in AMA international Karate Championships held recently in England (UK) from 17th February to 18th February 2024. Team members Gurjant Singh and Amandeep Singh clinched individual Silver Medals in the tournament while Amninder Kaur bagged the Bronze medal at the competition.

All the team members were awarded in an official felicitation ceremony held after all the participants arrived in India. Sharanjeet Singh, President, Budo kai do Mixed Martial Arts federation of India, while congratulating the winners and the participants, expressed his elation on the achievement of the athletes. He said, “It is a matter of great pride that all the members performed exceptionally well in the international competition while competing against other countries.”

He added that, the medals are a morale booster for the players and the achievements are an inspiration for those aspiring to represent the country in various international competitions. Those who were present during the felicitation ceremony included Sharanjeet Singh President, Munish Sharma Gen. Secretary, Harpreet Kaur Joint Secretary, Suman Lata Sharma Coach, Kulderp Singh Coach and Swaran Singh Birdi Coach.

The team that represented the country in England comprised of Ravinder Pal Sharma Team Coach, Ekamveer Singh Team Captain, Arshdeep Singh, Prabhjot Singh, Amandeep Singh, Gurjant Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Charan Dass, Davinder Singh Dhaliwal and Team Helper Parwinder Singh, Amninder Kaur.
