Swarna Rani, a resident of Zirakpur,at Press Conference at Chandigarh Press Club today that she started shuttering store in partnership with Vedprakash Goyal, Nipan Goyal and Manu Goyal (people from the same family). Which was going well. But in the year 2013-14, her brother-in-law Vinod Kumar had a paralysis attack, due to which she wandered for three-four years for his treatment, but still he could not survive.
During this interval, instead of encouraging him, the Ved Prakash Goyal family took everything in their name and destroyed the entire shuttering. Swarna Rani also explained them socially, but their greed increased to such an extent that they were ready to kill her .She was forced to go to the police and she lodged the first FIR against the culprits in Zirakpur police station on 15-2-2019 while the second FIR was lodged at Dhakauli police station on 18/3/2019 but she did not get justice there too.
During this, Swarna kept pleading to many politicians and top officials, but she could not get their looted property. According to her, while wandering from door to door, her condition became so bad that Swarna Rani came in the grip of a deadly disease like cancer. Swarna Rani also appealed to the Chief Minister and DGP of Punjab, but till date no action has been taken.Now the victim woman has appealed to the Punjab government and the police to get back her looted property worth 3.5 crores of rupees through the media so that her family can earn their livelihood.
