Mr Shwet Malik, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Amritsar, Mr Gurloveleen Singh Sidhu, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Amritsar, and Kamaldeep Singh Sangha, Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar, inaugurated an exclusive exhibition on air-conditioning & refrigeration products and appliances organised by Confederation of Indian Industry at Hotel Holiday Inn, District Shopping Complex, B-Block, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar, today.
The distinguished guests also visited the stalls and enquired about the latest products on display.
Mr Malik said in accordance with the Prime Minister Narender Modi’s vision of Make In India’, CII Coolex was an excellent initiative by Confederation of Indian Industry to give a push to the industry in Amritsar. He said that earlier Air Conditioning use to be a luxury but now days with soaring temperatures it is a necessity. He also expressed happiness at the wide range of latest cooling solutions on display at the exhibition. He took a keen interest in the new technologies in the industry and greatly appreciated the use of Solar Technology in the field of Air Conditioning.
CII Coolex has won hearts of discerning customers from the region for nearly two decades at Chandigarh and Lucknow. Speaking after inaugurating the exhibition Mr Brar said, “CII Coolex provides a great opportunity for people of Amritsar to choose from a wide variety of refrigeration, cooling and air conditioning solutions based on the latest technology under one roof.”

The exhibition is proving especially useful for end users from the private as well as the public sector for residential, commercial and industrial buildings who are looking at upgrading their existing cooling and refrigeration systems, said Bhartesh Kumar, a local businessman.
Major brands, including ETA General Pvt Ltd, Godrej & Boyce Mfg Pvt Ltd, Hitachi Home and Life solutions India Pvt Ltd, IFB Industries, Lloyd electric & engineering LTD, Mitsubishi electric India Pvt LTD, O General, Panasonic India Pvt Ltd and Videocon Industries displayed state-of-the-art products at 14 stalls at the exhibition.
