The Mathematics Association SIGMA of Post Graduate Govt. College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh organised various events for all the classes this week. The competitions ranged from Brain-twisting questions and Quiz to Fun with Mathematics. The programme also included skits to motivate the students and to make the concepts of Mathematics stronger in students. Students participated with great zeal and were of the opinion that such events help in making the subject interesting. Prof. Anita Kaushal, Principal of the college gave away the prizes to the winners and encouraged them to put in their best towards learning and making practical use of it.
