Delhi police detains SAD (Democratic) leader Parminder Dhindsa & others

Ahead of the ‘Delhi Chalo’ march to support farmers against the anti-farmer agricultural laws, Delhi police on Thursday detained Shiromani Akali Dal (Democratic) senior leader S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, along with other prominent leaders including S. Ranjit Singh Talwandi, S. Tejinder Pal Singh Sandhu, S. Amanvir Singh Cheri, S. Manpreet Singh Talwandi, S. Randhir Singh Samura, S. Satgur Singh Namol, S. Gogi Pannawalia and Paramjit Singh Pamma. The SAD (Democratic) leaders reached New Delhi on November 25 as per the call given by the farmers’ organisations. After paying obeisance at Sri Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in Delhi; S. Dhindsa along with party leaders headed to protest against ‘black agricultural laws’ forced by the centre government, when they were detained by the police near Jantar Mantar.
