DFC faced a stern test in their away match against Real Kashmir, ultimately succumbing to a narrow 2-1 defeat. Despite the loss, the team’s determination and fighting spirit were on full display, leaving fans impressed with their performance.
The match began with DFC dominating proceedings, holding Real Kashmir to a 0-0 stalemate at halftime.
The visitors created numerous scoring opportunities, but were unable to capitalize on them. The second half saw DFC emerge with renewed intent, but a momentary lapse in focus allowed Bouba Aminou to score the opening goal for Real Kashmir.
Undeterred, DFC continued to press forward, but Real Kashmir’s home advantage and vocal fan support proved to be a significant obstacle. The hosts soon doubled their lead, leaving DFC with a tough test in the last few minutes.
However, the Warriors of DFC refused to give up. They launched a series of attacks, and their persistence finally paid off when Samir Binong scored his first goal of the season, making it 2-1.
The goal was a testament to the team’s never-say-die attitude, and was made possible by a delightful assist from Danilo, who marked his I-League return with a clever chipped pass.
DFC’s captain, Hriata, also played a crucial role in the goal, showcasing his vision and creativity on the field. Despite the defeat, the team’s performance was a promising indication of their growth and potential.
DFC created numerous chances, but unfortunately, couldn’t capitalize on them. However, they take heart from our performance and look forward to improving with every game.
DFC will now shift their focus to their next match, an away fixture against Sreenidi Deccan FC on December 9. The team is determined to learn from their mistakes and come back stronger in their next encounter.
