The Readers and Writers Society of India organised a book release function today at Central Library Sector 17 Chandigarh , Its Dr Sangeeta’s landmark book “BENGAL KA LOK SANGEET” . In this book Dr Sangeeta Choudhary has translated Folk songs of bengal into Hindi so as to reach the people of this area who are unable to get familiar with music of bengal into Hindi due to language problem .Bengal ka look sangeet is Dr Sangeta’s second book .
Dr Mohd Rafi eminent writer , Chairman Education wing , PUNJAB WAKF BOARD was CHIEF GUEST and lauded her effort to bring bengals melodies to this area so that North Indians too read and enjoy bengals folk , todays event started with lamp lighting ,Paper reading by writer Vinod Khanna . Vasundhara and raghav goel students of Dr Sangeeta presented melodies of bengal in Hindi and dr saengeeta herself too enthralled everyone with her melodious voice and she brought bengal folk of bengal to Chandigarh that too in Hindi so that chandigarhians too can relish bengal folk . Eminent writer Prem Vij , K B chabbra , Daljit Singh arora ,V K Khanna were present and event was anchored by Shelly Taneja.
