I’m Harmeet Kaur not only a housewife a mother but also a passionate chef. I am a Plus size woman. Many people think that size plus doesn’t look beautiful and graceful, but I totally disagree with that. I feel beautiful and have the same feeling towards any other plus size woman.
I have participated in many workshops and contests. That’s what gave me the confidence to be myself all the time.
I got married 12 years back and currently reside in West Delhi. Punjabi’s especially crave for awesome food and same is with my two cute kids who love to eat their moms delicacies every day.
I am a Chef by profession and I love cooking. It’s my passion in life. I have participated in various competitions and on 28th January 2017 got 2nd prize (1st runner-up) of Aashirvaad present food feasta 2017 in Delhi. And named as chef Harmeet Kaur. I also run cooking classes at the name of Dlite cooking classes(fb page Dite dlite).
The zeal to invent and experiment with new dishes doesn’t die. I love experimenting with food.
Maa2Mom was another big platform in my life. This Facebook group was the great platform for the moms running by Jyoti Aggarwal and many more.
The recent event I have participated in was “Ms plus size North India 2017 organized by Hardeep Arora and Daksha Digital”. It was a very unique and different platform for plus size girls and very inspiring too.
I’m very thankful to the organizer who has put such great efforts and guts to organize such an event like this. By attending various workshop during grooming classes and being a part of such out of the box contest brings in me more confidence.
I got the title of Ms charming and I’m very thankful to Simrat mam, Rita Gangwani mam, Aman Grewal mam, Javed sir for improving me as I’m today. I wanted to thank Hardeep Arora for changing the life of many Plus Size girls including me.
I believe, in between goals is the thing called life, that has to be lived and enjoy. This is what I want every Plus Size girl to understand and stop be conscious about themselves, rather start enjoying their life.
