In the Seven days Faculty Development Programme organized by the Post Graduate Department of Public Administration, DAV College, Sector-10, Chandigarh under the aegis of RUSA and State Directorate UT, Chandigarh, Mr. Amar Singh Chandel, Journalist having more than 35 years of experience and writer of popular books “Stress to Serenity” and “Perfect health in twenty weeks” discussed four wheels of Good Health. He told how Food, Exercise, Yoga and Meditation and Stress management can help to improved health. He told that how one bowl of junk food can harm one’s physical system. if one will eat junk, he will be junk. If we are not exercising, we will be inviting illness. He focused the utility of meditation for managing the stress. The second talk was delivered by Professor Mahesh Sharma, of department of History of Panjab University, Chandigarh. He highlighted the present system of education and the improvements in the traditional system to improve and more retained learning.
Prof. R.K. Dogra, Prof. Amitabh Diwedi, Prof. Arti Walia and Prof. Sumita Bakshi, Prof. umang Bishnoi and Prof. Sandeep chaired the sessions. Dr. B.C. Josan appreciated the talks and appealed the participants to follow the wheels of success and implement the same for the enhanced learning of the students.
