Hitesh Puri Chairman Chandigarh Residents Associations welfare Federation said that RWA representative were asked for help by. DC Chandigarh in tackling grim situation hence we have taken this initiative in addition to Govt helplines, we have roped in teams of our RWA’s & Team of Dr RS Bedi and Dr H K Kharbanda to help suffering people of tricity. Be it availability of bed , medicine,vaccine, oxygen or support of food , counselling ,help to elderly or sick our member RWA will help callers throughout Day from 9 am to 7 pm .
Dr R S Bedi said time and again we are stressing upon need to proper mask and timely vaccination to protect from Coronavirus and now through this helpline we will again be just a call away to help people. Dr H K Kharbanda said we have been sensitising people about fake news and spreading awareness about latest development about virus via social media but looking at highly contagiousness of 2nd wave to answer common man queries is must to relieve their fear and stress.
More team members will be involved in this venture in to give comprehensive Information added Dr R S Bedi Director Bedi Hospital and Past President IMA Chandigarh. Dr Bedi, director of bedi hospital said that We as citizens and a doctor would like to assist the Administration and all welfare associations in this endeavour in this hour of crisis.
