Freshers were accorded a rousing welcome at the Khalsa College (Asr) of Technology and Business Studies, Mohali here today at a Fresher’s Party.
The Mr Fresher title went to Taj Tarunveer Singh of MBA-1 while Miss Fresher title was fetched by Parjinder Kaur MA-1 Sociology of and Mr Handsome were Sarthak Bahuguna of MA Sociology and Miss Charming Tanya of BCom-1.
Ambika Shukla, Jasmeet Kaur were the judges for picking up the best participants from Ramp Modeling.
A cultural extravaganza was also held which enlivened the celebrations with folk songs, singing, dancing and classical singing.
Dr. Harish Kumari, Principal, Khalsa College (Asr) of Technology and Business Studies, Mohali who welcomed the students and inspired them to work hard to attain heights in future. She also added that a disciplined life is a key to success and the college initiates to maintain discipline during their studies as well as their personal lives. She motivated the students to participate in co-curricular activities along with studies because these are the basis of overall development of their personality.
