Gian Jyoti Global School Celebrated Independence Day at its premises in phase-2 Mohali today. The patriotic wave could be found blazing on the innocent faces of the kids who presented various patriotic performances during the celebration. Everyone in the campus was geared up and enthused for the celebration.
Mr. Ranjeet Bedi, Principal, Gian Jyoti Global School while speaking on the occasion said that celebration was colorful with high spirit of patriotism. All teachers and students were wearing Tri color. The whole school echoed with slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, “Jai Hind”, “Vande Mataram” and “Yaad Karo” Kurbani, she added.
Nursery kids performed on ‘we shall overcome’ and ‘Rang De Basanti’; kindergarten kids performed on ‘Jai Ho, Mere Desh Ki Dharti and Phir Bhi Dil hai Hindustani’; Class -1 students presented a Fancy Dress show and different characters from the Indian history of freedom were presented. Class-2 students performed on ‘Charo Taraf Dhum Machi Hai’; Class -3 students performed a short Short skit on the Kargil war and class-4 students presented a play focused on Chandra Shekar Azad.
The celebration concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
