AYUSH Health mela during Sewa Pakhwara was organised today at AHWC 37 Chandigarh. The occasion was graced by IAS Ajay Chagti, Secretary Health Chandigarh. The inauguration commenced by symbolic lightening of candle. Health Mela, celebrated as part of Sewa Pakhwada from September 17th to October 2nd, plant Bahera was planted IAS Anuradha S Chagti.
Dr Rajiv Kapila, Senior Ayurvedic physican and Dr Pankaj Kaul gave awareness through lectures about Ayurvedic and Homeopathic system of medicine & lifestyle, Diseases, ahar vihar, about important of dincharya, diet as per ritucharya according to Ayurveda. Patient were examined through parkriti parkshan and Nadiparikshan. In the mela, yog demonstration was given for the prevention and cure.
Awareness was provided regarding medicinal plants, plants identification cultivation, there uses for prevention and cure. Medicinal plants were distributed free to the patients.
