Prominent farmer leader, President of Chandigarh unit of All India Jatt Mahasabha and National Delegate of Mahasabha S. Rajinder Singh Badheri has strongly condemned the deadly attack on United Kisan Morcha leader Rakesh Tikait in Rajasthan. He said that the attack on Rakesh Tikait, a popular leader among farmers and general public in Tatarpur near Alwar by a mob and throwing ink was a shameful incident in itself due to the ongoing Farmers’ Protest on the borders of New Delhi. The more it is condemned, the less it is.

Farmer leader S. Badheri said there should be a high-level inquiry into the attack and it was necessary to find out whether the attack was carried out at the behest of any central government agency.

Mr. Badheri further said that after this attack, the fate of BJP in Rajasthan would be similar to that of Punjab and Haryana. He said that now the anger and resentment against the BJP among the farmers and general public of the country was increasing day by day.

Mr. Rajinder Singh Badheri also said that the BJP, which is in power at the Center, is now axing its feet and it will have to bear the consequences of every wrongdoing in all the coming elections.
