Panchkula ladies club celebrated Holi with great pomp & show at Hotel Shiraz sector- 10 Panchkula. No colours were used as they harm the skin due to chemicals . Only coloured flowers were used for celebration. It was for the first time that Holi was celebrated in typical VRINDAVAN style with krishan, Radha and bhajans. Indra Singh & Surekha Singh were dressed up as krishna and Radha. Rachna Duggal & Usha Sharma also as Krishna & Radha. Rest of ladies were dressed up as Gopis wearing lehngas, choli & odhnis.
Main attractions of this program were DJ & Dandia. Ladies also danced on holi songs on DJ as Rang Barse, Balam pichkari, Holi khele raghuvira, Do me a favour Lets play
Holi, Aaj na chodenge and Holi khelen.
Bhajans on which ladies danced were Mohe panghat pe nandlala, Mein nahi makhan khayo, Radha dhun rahi kisi ne mera sham dhunda, O Radha teri chunri O Radha tera jhumka, Maiya yashoda ye tera kanhiya, Ghunghat ke pat na khol de
O shama holi khedan aayian teri saaliyan. Ladies also participated in Lucky draws which were sponsored by Chateuvince Solitaires jewellery & Dr Batras Healthcare clinics.
