Northern India Regional Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Chandigarh Chapter organised Chandigarh State Conference 2022 on theme Corporate Sustainability: An analysis of Optimum Practices at Private hotel in Chandigarh. CS Susshil Daga, Chairman of NIRC welcomed the Chief Guest/Guest of Honours and Guest Speakers of the conference.
Shri Kumar Gaurav Dhawan, IRS, Deputy Director (Admin), PGIMER, Chandigarh Chief Guest inaugurated the Chandigarh State Conference by lighting the lamp and solacing the commencement of the event.
CS GS Sarin, Regional Council Member NIRC (Program Director) acquainted the audience with the theme of the conference. Thereafter, CS Anil Kumar, Past Chairman – Chandigarh Chapter started the proceedings of the conference.
Shri Kumar Gaurav Dhawan, Chief Guest addressed the audience at the conference with his welcoming speech.
CS Vinod Kothari, Managing Partner – Vinod Kothari & Company in his brief address enlightened the delegates about various expects of the Companies Act, 2013 and awakened the delegates on various intricate aspects of law.
CS S Sudhakar, Vice President (Corporate Secretarial) of Reliance Industries Limited was the
Guest Speaker of the conference. He spoke on the topic ‘evolving role of Company Secretaries
in Corporate Governance and apprised the members on their pivotal role towards corporate governance at large.
CS Nitu Poddar, Partner of Vinod Kothari & Company was the Guest Speaker of the Conference. She spoke on the topic ‘CSR-making Corporates Responsible’ and illuminated on the various untouched aspects of this domain.
CS Deepak Sharma, Company Secretary from Sharma Jain & Associates was the Guest Speaker of the Conference. He spoke on the topic ‘Artifical Intelligence : Facing the future together’ and enthralled the audience on the imperative need to have artificial audience as the key for corporate success.
More than 150 Company Secretaries professionals attended the Chandigarh State conference. Q&A session held with professionals. The guest speakers addressed to all the queries raised by the audience to their utmost satisfaction.
CS Puneet Tangri , Chairman thanked the Chief Guest and Guest Speakers who took time and acquainted the audience with valuable expertise and knowledge that they possessed .
