To promote the cultural diversity and integrity through EK BHARAT SHRESHTHA BHARAT programme and celebrate the TEACHER’S DAY, the NSS unit of D.A.V COLLEGE organised an Inter-College Quiz Competition on 5th September, 2020.
The theme of the quiz competition was- Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat with special emphasis on Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Life Sketch of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
The quiz was conducted online and consisted of 30 questions. A total of 65 students from various colleges of Chandigarh took part in the competition.
Shagun Choudhary, Kavita Chauhan, both students of MCM DAV College and Awani Sharma of DAV College, Chandigarh bagged the top 3 prizes respectively and Dinesh Kumar of DAV College won the consolation prize.
Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Principal of D. A. V college appreciated the work done by all the volunteers and congratulated them for the success of the competition.
NSS programming officers Dr. Suman Kapoor, Prof. Sandeep Singh and Prof. Bhushan Kumar congratulated all the winners and encouraged the volunteers to organise more such competitions.
