International women’s day marked its celebration by the female students and staff of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh at its campus today. Students & staff of various departments including Aryans College of Engineering(ACE), Aryans Business School(ABS), Aryans Institute of Management & Technology(AIMT), Aryans Institute of Nursing(AIN), Aryans College of Law(ACL), Aryans College of Education(ACE), Aryans Degree College etc participated in the various activities organized at its campus.
A scintillating cultural extravaganza of melodious songs, theatrical items, Giddha, folk and state dances on the tune of various songs were presented by the students and staff on the eve of women’s day. Students attired in gaudy clothes and added glamour and beauty to the function.
Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group highlighted the role of women being acknowledged as equal in all the domains of the society. Be it political, social, professional, domestic or familial, women are taking over the world by storm.
