Irrigation Engineers witch-hunt by VB: Chief Secretary assures Engineers of resolving issue

Members of the Irrigation Engineers’ Joint Action Committee met the Chief Secretary , Punjab in presence of Principal Secretary Irrigation on the issue of witch-hunt unleashed by Vigilance Bureau against Irrigation Engineers. The Chief secretary listened to the JAC members patiently and told them that their demand of making a Technical Committee to conduct the enquiry will be considered sympathetically . It was also informed that a high powered meeting of JAC will be held on 23rd August at Chandigarh, to decide on further course of action.
