National Lok Kalyan Party (NLKP), Bharat Gathbandhan, Sadda Khirda Punjab Federation, and Jan Andolan joined hands today in a powerful press conference held in Amritsar. The leaders emphasized the urgent need for civic participation and collective action to challenge corruption, revive Punjab, and reshape political narratives for progress and welfare.

The leaders shared their concerns over corruption in the current political ecosystem, the neglect faced by social activists, and the backlash against civic society movements. They called for a transformative Jan Andolan to ignite a resurgence in Punjab, empower civic society, and redefine political participation for progress and welfare.
Sardar Aman Bandvi spoke passionately about Punjab’s disillusionment with politics, the directionless state of its youth, and the dire need for a people-centric movement. He appealed to farmers, teachers, environmentalists, and citizens from all walks of life to join hands for a New Punjab.
Abhishek highlighted how vested interests have hijacked past people’s movements, creating an illusion of change while leaving states in turmoil. He criticized the JP Andolan and India Against Corruption movement for their failed outcomes and underscored the need for an authentic Jan Andolan.
Sardar Inder Preet Singh delivered a personal and empathetic address, detailing his experience of sabotage during his candidacy from Rajinder Nagar, Delhi. He accused AAP of being anti-Sikh and anti-Punjab and blamed its leadership for the financial and social decline in Delhi and Punjab. He urged citizens to rise against the current government’s false promises and support a real movement for change.
Arun Kumar Sharma, the NLKP candidate from New Delhi, criticized the AAP government for lawlessness, neglect of women’s security, failure of senior citizens’ pensions, and divisive politics. He shared the growing public support for his candidacy as a beacon of hope for Delhi.
Dr. Sudhir Agrawal elaborated on the Bharat Gathbandhan’s vision of a united and corruption-free political alliance.
Baldev Raj Sood emphasized the importance of strengthening Gram Sabhas for grassroots governance and extended full support to the Jan Andolan initiative for Punjab and Delhi.
This united front is committed to building a new narrative for Punjab and Delhi, with a focus on civic empowerment, transparency, and progress. The leaders urged citizens to reject divisive politics and join hands for a corruption-free, people-centric governance model.
