Allen Chandigarh student JAYESH SINGLA created history for the institute by obtaining 100 NTA score in JEE MAINS 2019 to become one amongst the national toppers. It is noteworthy that ALLEN Chandigarh students ASHUTOSH SINGLA, another student at ALLEN bagged 99.9981753 percentile and is a Haryana State Topper.
Also, SARTHAK GUPTA scored 99.8950807 percentile is the Himachal State topper for this year’s JEE MAINS. Jayesh being the Punjab State topper, hence the toppers of all three states Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh are ALLEN Classroom Students.
The first JEE (Main) Examination was conducted by NTA between 8th and 12th January, 2019 in two shifts per day across 258 cities in the country and abroad. A total number of 9, 29,198 candidates were registered for Paper –I (B.E. /B. Tech.) in this examination.
There were 467 examination centres across the country and abroad. A total number of 566 Observers, 254 City- Coordinators and 25 State Coordinators were deployed at these centres to oversee the smooth and fair conduct of examination. The Paper-I was conducted in a total of 8 shifts from 9th to 12th January 2019. The results of Paper- I have been declared today.
Jayesh has also been selected for the Indian National Olympiad 2019 in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Astronomy. These Olympiads are conducted by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education. Ashutosh Singla was also selected for Indian national Olympiad 2019 in Chemistry. Jayesh is also selected for the Indian National Olympiad for Informatics which is conducted by Chennai Mathematical Institute.
Outcome of the results was celebrated at the ALLEN Industrial Area campus by Students and their faculties. The Senior Vice President of ALLEN Mr. C R Chaudhary lauded his academic, team as well as the students for turning the collective dream of seeing Allen at the top flourishing into reality.
