I stay away from controversies and I don’t want to indulge in any controversy. Don’t take my opinion on it. My thoughts should remain to me only. Don’t ask me anything on Padmavati issue said Zeenat Aman.
“Laila” who introduced Glamour in Bollywood Industry long ago was in City for Bollywood Night. Talented Actress Zeenat Aman attended Zeenat Aman Night organized in Indradhanush Auditorium Sector-5 Panchkula. While interacting with media she tried to keep it a low affair by only talking on her own films and not getting into any type of controversy.
She recalled a sweet gesture done by Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar on her Birthday. Zeenat said, “I am so proud that our own Girl has won Miss World this time. She is so gorgeous. I was touched by her sweet nature when she wished me Happy Birthday on twitter. She made all of us proud.
When asked about the comeback problems heroines’ face, she said I don’t believe in ‘comeback’, the word is wrong. Actresses also have their own families and some choose to be a wife/mother/daughter first and then give time to their profession. When you get a script of your interest whether it is after 6 years or 10 years, you can always choose according to your wish and subject to your convenience. You can’t call it a comeback; it’s part of everyone’s journey.
I am right now working with my daughter in our own production. My daughter is coming up with some interesting films and projects. I have also worked in a Web Series “Love, Life and screw-ups” and now we are coming up with the second season of this web series. You will also watch me in some special appearances soon. Shorts films are also lined up. Let’s see how things work out.
Expressing her interest on music, Zeenat said that Music is an expression of soul. A person expresses his emotions through music. It’s different for each individual and I am very fond of different genre of music. It depends in which age you are right now. If you are in love, you will hear romantic songs, if you are a parent you will listen to songs related to children or adulthood. If you are an old age, you will choose accordingly. I love different kinds of music at different situations of my life.
