“Leaders are not born, they are made. It is their passion, perseverance, and commitment to make a change in the society that helps them reach the zenith of success. Leadership is the ability to motivate your team towards the collective vision of the organization. It is the process of replacing the ‘I’ with ‘we’.”

Mrs. Keshni Anand Arora, Additional Chief Secretary to Govt. of Haryana and Financial Commissioner, Revenue & Disaster Management and Consolidation Departments was speaking at a workshop on ‘The Nuances of Leadership’ today at Hyatt Regency,

Chandigarh-based Vibrant Networking Forum joined hands with Shoolini University to organise this one-of-its-kind workshop. Eminent torchbearers from diverse backgrounds united to provide an insight into their millennial journey as a leader; paving the way for intellectual & overall development.

Mr. Atul Khosla, Pro-Vice Chancellor & Founder, Shoolini University while speaking on the occasion said, “I feel absolutely delighted to initiate this workshop in association with the Vibrant Networking Forum. When I started my professional journey, I realised that great ideas started on a napkin; this proved to be the beacon of light behind us organising this workshop. I strongly believe that forums like this will expose the society to the traits that the leaders must have and how they can impact, influence and inspire the society”.

Mr. Jyoti Kamal, Senior Editor at TV 18 Broadcast further emphasized on the great influx of technology in today’s era of cut-throat competition which plays a vital role in providing an edge to the leaders. “A true leader needs to stay updated with technical competency and must be well-aware of her/his subject to reach the pinnacle,” he said.

As the workshop progressed further, Mr. Vivek Atray, IAS (Retd.) delineated on the skills that are required to be an effective & efficient leader. He averred, “Leaders are the champions who did not give up the dream of their vision. Qualities like integrity, determination, credibility, responsibility, and humility help in incarnating a successful leader.”

The other keynote speakers of the workshop were Bobby Dsouza (Director of Empower India Academia), Ashoo Khosla (author & motivational speaker), Sandeep Nagpal (Leadership Trainer with Leadership Management International) , Atul Khosla (Pro-Vice Chancellor & Founder, Shoolini University), and Vinish Kathuria (Social Entrepreneur).

The workshop concluded by providing everyone an opportunity to learn, grow and foster a dynamic cultural shift in understanding the nuances of leadership.
