Department of Psychology, DAV College, Sector 10 organised a lecture on Clinical Hypnosis. The resource person, Dr. Jini Gopinath is a practising hypnotherapist in Bangalore. Dr Gopinath informed the audience about the common myths surrounding hypnosis and the utility of various versions of hypnosis in different conditions. The event was presided by Professor Emeritus, Dr. Jitendra Mohan from Department of Psychology, Panjab University. Prof Mohan called upon the young students to delve into the realm of hypnotherapy to build their own skills as well as to help the clients. Principal Dr. Pawan Sharma yearned the students to work on skill building to become effective professionals.
