Political Science Association DAV College, Chandigarh observed Martyrdom Day of Mahatma Gandhi today in Mini Auditorium. 2 minutes silence was observed to pay homage to the Father of Nation. 6 Oscar winning movie Gandhi was screened on the occasion. Principal Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma apprised the students of the great teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and the work done by him for the nation. The screening of the film was followed by discussion by the students and faculty members. Finally, Dr. Ghanshyam Dev and Department of Political Science thanked the students, faculty members and principal for participating in the program organised to observe the Martyrdom Day of Mahatma Gandhi.
