This summer senior citizen forum for education in collaboration with Prasanchetas foundation is conducting a 10 days summer camp with the name of “masti ki paathshala” from 1 June 2019- 10 June 2019 for 50 students from humble backgrounds, who cannot actually pay or afford to be part of a summer camp at Government Model Sanskriti Senor Secondary School in sector 20 Panchkula.
The prime purpose of this “masti ki paathshala” is to empower teenagers from classes 6th to 10th with self confidence, moral values, logical and reasoning skills, leadership skills, creativity, self responsibility, self defense, mental health and emotional wellness.
This camp will help them the students to unleash their personality and enhance their personality along with becoming more focused towards their goals and targets and being more progressive in their efforts. In this camp different activities are planned accordingly like, sports activities, team building tasks, role plays, best out of waste, creative tasks along with many other, energizers, fun games and stimulative tasks which will help them in learning through fun and improving themselves in academics and at a personal front.
Special sessions will also be facilitated on value education, along with vocabulary building, child safety, self-defense and disaster management. Apart from the above, students will be provided with the opportunities to exhibit their talent which they will be presenting as formal performances on the last day of the camp, where there parents will also be invited to witness the change initiated amongst their children.
