Ramanujan Mathematical Society, DAV College, Chandigarh, Sector 10, Chandigarh organized a lecture on FORENSIC SCIENCE- An Investigating Science on 25.September.2019, in association with The National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) (Chandigarh Chapter) and Chandigarh Vigyan Parishad. Dr. Kewal Krishan, Chairperson, Department of Anthropology, Panjab University, Chandigarh was being invited to deliver this lecture. Principal, Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma, welcomed the Chief Guest. Other Eminent Guests, Prof. IBS Passi, Chairman, Chandigarh Chapter of NASI and Prof. S.K.Tomar, President, Chandigarh Vigyan Parishad, were also present on the occasion. Dr. Kewal Krishan emphasized on the importance and application of Mathematics in Forensic Science. He also made students aware of various career opportunities for Mathematics students in the field of Forensic Science. The students found the whole lecture very interesting, knowledgeable and helpful for their future prospects. Faculty members from various departments of the College attended the lecture.
