Middlesex University Dubai strives to transform student’s potential into success by offering a student experience with a difference. With the new academic year commencing on 23 September 2018, students applying and enrolling to start their studies with the University can now apply for the enhanced International Foundation Programme(IFP).

The programme for September 2018 intake will feature a 180 Credit Programme. In addition to preparing students with academic skills, maths, statistics and critical thinking skills, it will also prepare students for the discipline they plan to join in Year 1 of the Bachelor’s Degree programme at the university.

The International Foundation Programme provides students with the basic understanding of the educational landscape, helping them transition from High School to University by teaching the use of academic conventions, fostering a learner-centred environment and encouraging independent learning, whereby, students become actively involved in their education.

During the course, students will be introduced to a range of subjects taught in the University’s undergraduate programmes, as well as being offered support in choosing and applying for the degree they wish to study. It also enables students to settle into student life at Middlesex University Dubai.

Students will be actively involved in a range of learning, teaching and assessment approach as part of the programme. Technology will also support students learning, and by engaging with e-learning, students will also be developing skills which are not only essential for learning but also highly valued by employers.

Upon successful completion of the International Foundation Programme, students may progress directly onto any one of the undergraduate programmes offered by the University. These programmes include Accounting & Finance, Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Innovation, Tourism, International Business, Project Management, Graphic Design, Journalism & Communication, Film, Advertising, PR & Branding, Psychology, LLB, Early Childhood Studies, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Information Systems.

“At Middlesex University Dubai, we are committed to providing the best opportunities for our students to be ready for future career success.
