The much-awaited Mohali Trade Fair started at Dussehra Ground, Phase 8 here today under the aegis of Delhi Events. The month-long trade fair will continue till September 4, 2022. The fair is open to the general public from 3 pm to 10 pm every day. Sunny Singh, Director, Delhi Events said, “We have brought this trade fair on the occasion of Independence Day and Janmashtami Utsav. The main attractions of the fair are Robotic Dinosaurs, London Bridge, Bhoot Bangla, Camel Ride, Festive Shopping, and Entertainment activities for children and elders alike. The entry gate is given the shape of the world-famous London Bridge.” He further added that the stalls are showcasing handicraft items, carpets, Khurja crockery, Jaipuri purse, artificial jewelry, and Gujarati handloom among many other things. This is the largest fair in Mohali and Chandigarh combined in terms of the variety of objects displayed on the glittering stalls.
Children are also visiting the fair enthusiastically to enjoy the various jhoolas, Striking Car, Bhoot Bangla, Break Dance, Water boat, Mickey mouse, camel rides, etc. A folk dance group from Palwal entertains the visitors, while people also get their taste buds satisfied at the stalls of Rajasthani Food, Mathura Food, Tandoori Tea, Khalsa Food, and American Boota.
